Some requirements with PS image for inkjet printer

Photo is generally used indoors. The output of the photo machine is only a few square meters. Such as the small screen used by the manufacturer in the exhibition. Generally, the medium used by the 1.6-meter maximum width photo machine is PP paper and lamp, and the ink is water-based ink. At the end of the output image, we need to cover the film and mount the board to calculate the finished product. The output resolution can reach 300-1200dpi (different models will have different), and its color is relatively saturated and clear.


Let's briefly introduce some simple requirements for making and outputting images in inkjet and photo realistic.


1. Photoshop design size of spray painting image


There is no need to "bleed" the photo output image, just make a picture according to the actual size.


2. The resolution requirement of photo realistic image in Photoshop design


Generally speaking, 72 DPI is enough for photo resolution. If the image is too large (for example, the file size is more than 400m when Photoshop creates a new image to display the actual size), the resolution can be reduced appropriately and the file can be controlled within 400m.


3. Photoshop design requirements for spray painting image mode


Realism can use either cmky mode or RGB mode. Note that the red value in RGB is defined by cmky, i.e. M = 100y = 100.


4. Photoshop design requirements for black part of realistic image


It is strictly prohibited to have a single black value in the realistic image, and C, m and Y colors must be added to form a mixed black. If it is big black, it can be made: C = 50m = 50y = 50K = 100. Especially when using its effect in Photoshop, pay attention to changing the black part to four-color black, otherwise the black part will appear on the screen with a bar, affecting the overall effect.


5. Photoshop design photo image storage requirements


It's better to store realistic images in TIF format, but note that compressed format is not available.
